Dear Jolyon,

Pls note that this templates are just a symple way to start with flash. For sure that someone who wants to become a professional, must read and build a lot to increase their experience. Meantime, they will use other code than this, more workable, easly and complicated. By the way, what other code would you use instead of the above you have mentioned?

I ask you this, cause i'm not a professional, i'm just someone, who likes to make some applications to the net use.

Brgds,
CP

I donwloaded the source for this and wasn't that suprised to see FLA's in the zip. I was surprised when I opened one of the FLA and had a look through the code.

Are people still using onClipEvent and loadMovieNum?

Do people still attach code to MovieClips?

It would appear they do.

In my professional opinion for someone starting out using Flash this would be a bad example for developing your first website let alone a web application.
