Google Maps API for Flash

Google has launched the Google Maps API, which can now, be used inside Flash components. Previously Google Maps was only available through a JavaScript API. Judging from the demo included with the announcement, this API opens up the door to exciting new possibilities.
There is a cool article that introduce you to this new api, and gives a clear picture of what can be done.
