Nope. But man, the new A6 is coming with a 3.0L V6 with a supercharger strapped to it! Same engine that’s in the 2010 S4. I might have to lose my A4 and get an A6 now. Kids, Dogs and power

In this site I can see they are using xml files which are filled with x,y and z coordinates to create the shape of the car and parts. Does anyone know how they would have created this data using a 3d app or something similar?

I’m a big fan of this design. Like Ash, I’d be interested to know how they managed to plot the dots out originally.

This is not real 3D is it, just a few algorythms….
I would assume you can script to extract the dotted lines of the 3D mesh shape and store them in an XML format, then code a basic spinning algorythm and an ‘exploding’ algorythm.
I think th emost striking thing is the simplistic appearance of it.
